Before we arrive
- Please help to keep our technicians safe by informing us of and minimising any hazards before we arrive such as wet surfaces/paint, sharp objects, pets, other contractors etc
- If you need us to clean under items, try to clear as much as possible to reduce the price. Most clients choose to clear the small items and have us clean around the beds and couches.
- Please clear debris like wrappers, toys, lego, bottle caps and other items to reduce the price.
- If you can, tie up low curtains and open windows. We are happy to do this if you can’t manage.
- Please let us know if you can’t save a nearby carpark for us.
- We try to update you early if we are behind schedule. Please call 0800 22 66 22 if you have not received communication and are coming to meet us.
- Often our clients chose to hide a key. In this case, be ready for our phone call, we will detail any options and will take payment over the phone.
- Payment can be by cash or by EFTPOS
- Heavy machinery, cords and cleaning sprays create a hazard. We also need to return to the truck often. If you have children and pets, please find a safe place for them.
During the work

- Stain products are designed to stay active during drying, some are considered slight skin irritants until they fully deactivate so it’s best to keep children and pets off until dry.
- Feel free to sit and watch or leave us to it and get on with your day (we can lock up as we leave).
After we are gone

- Carpets are left dry enough to use immediately.
- Dry fully – In reasonable weather ventilation is all that is required for fast drying. Leave as many windows open fully as possible. Never seal a house completely as this will stop drying completely. If weather is cold and wet then a heat source and slight ventilation is better. Heat alone does not work as drying stops with high humidity. Make sure some windows are open 1-2” to ventilate but not wide open to prevent heat to build up. Heat pumps and moisture systems aren’t designed for drying carpets, you will still need to ventilate slightly. Until carpets are fully dry keep grubby shoes and paws off for the best result. Most carpets will feel dry in 1-4 hours. Dry times vary depending on both humidity and temperature.
- Carpet wear (pooling and shading) – unfortunately worn carpet can often resemble soiling. As a fiber ages, it becomes bent and scratched and its orientation can change. This causes odd wear patterns, view examples here.

Waiver
– We always take care but cannot accept any responsibility for damage moving furniture. If you need us to clean under furniture please remove items that can break or spill from cabinets. Please undo all cords. Please be aware that furniture legs are often not strong enough to slide, especially when loaded with weight. Any expensive furniture or paintings should be removed to avoid damage, we work with sprays and heavy machines.
– The simple process of cleaning soil away can expose chemical and physical damage. For instance, if a stain was scrubbed previously, built up soiling can hide the abrasion very well. When cleaned, the burst pile will shine, reflect light and highlight the problem. We are not responsible for uncovering damage of any kind. We will always reduce stain/colour damage and stop treatment if carpet is to delicate to achieve a perfect result. We can repair slight burst pile easily by groooming with carpet clippers (non continuous filaments will shed lint their whole lives). You must agree to our general waiver to receive our services.
