Pete

With a chemistry degree and a passion for saving carpets from replacement, Peter recognised the need for specialised cleaning services, especially when tackling challenging stains like dye or pet stains.

His chemistry degree and expertise in repairing colour and his dedication to staying aware of industry trends, such as low moisture technology and carpet dyeing, mean he’s the go-to guy for your carpets.

When he’s not immersed in the world of carpets, Peter is an avid sports enthusiast, cheering on his children, competing in various sports, tramping, and recently diving into the thrilling world of wakeboarding.

What inspired you to start this business?

Carpet replacement is a costly exercise. I wanted to create a solution to save our customers this expense. Often this is either due to pet odours or “permanent” stains such as food dyes in beverages.

What’s the most challenging stain you’ve ever had to remove?

Repairing bleached carpet requires special skills. A dye stain will often require bleaching and recolouring. This means that hair dye, RTD’s and many other colours can be an exciting challenge.

How has technology impacted the carpet cleaning industry since you first started?

The two biggest trends over the last year would be shifting to low moisture technology and carpet dyeing. We have focused on these for many years developing our incredible system.

What’s the most important advice you would give to someone trying to maintain their carpets at home?

Manufacturers recommend professional deep cleaning. This removes embedded soil that is abrasive to carpet fibres when walked over and a properly maintained carpet lasts longer.

What do you enjoy doing when you’re not working?

We are a sports mad family. We watch our children play as much as possible and still compete ourselves in many different sports. We have taken up wakeboarding last summer which we are really enjoying.
